Man quizzed by cops over murder of his missing ex-girlfriend who vanished four months ago.

A man is being quizzed on suspicion of murder over a woman who has been missing for four months.

Kirby Noden, 32, has not been seen since January and has not been active on social media since the New Year either.

Police were alerted after receiving a call expressing concerns for the welfare of Kirby from a member of the public to another police force.

Now the major crime team at Devon and Cornwall police is quizzing the man at Newquay police station.

The man, 22, is believed to have been the last person to have been in a relationship with dark-haired Kirby, from Marazion, Cornwall.
But police are still appealing for any information about her whereabouts or any sightings.

Det Insp Ben Beckerleg, heading the inquiry, said: "We are pursuing a number of lines of enquiry.

"We’re keen to hear from anyone who believes they have seen or had contact with Kirby since January.

“It is possible Kirby has gone somewhere and for reasons not yet clear, does not wish to be found.

“We have arrested this man, who we understand to be Kirby’s most recent partner, in order to speak to him formally and obtain his account of events.”
